Visitors Center

The Mary Plym Visitors Center, completed in 1988 and named for Mary Plym, a founding contributor to Fernwood's emergence as a public garden, serves as the gateway to the property. Visitors pass through Kathy's Garden and The Wanda Franklin Entry Garden upon entry of the building. Access to the grounds is available through the Bauer Terrace to the south or directly onto The Green to the north. All exits are wheelchair accessible with either elevator or ramp.

All visitors must check-in at the Front Desk of the Visitors Center. Entry area equipped with restrooms, and a drinking fountain with a water bottle refill station. Also available at entry are wheelchairs, walkers, strollers, and interactive children's backpacks upon request; amenities are available on a first come first serve basis. Fernwood's Visitor Services Staff may assist with memberships, daily admission, merchandise, cafe and gallery sales, as well as general inquiries.
