Fernwood’s Gift Shop
Fernwood’s Gift Shop is open during our normal business hours. Admission is not required to visit the Gift Shop.
The shop offers a variety of unique items with nature and garden themes, including gifts, home décor, books, note cards, gourmet food items, educational toys, stuffed animals, jewelry, bird houses, gardening supplies, and fine artwork.
Fernwood members receive a 10% discount off merchandise items excluding consignment items. We also feature more than 25 local artists. Some of our favorite local businesses include: Motawi Tileworks, Lavender Hill Farms, and Harwood Gold.
Fernwood Gift Cards
Give the gift of Fernwood to someone special in your life. Fernwood gift cards have no expiration date and can be used, on-site, at Fernwood on select program registrations, gift and plant shop purchases, admission, and memberships.

Plant Shop
The Plant Shop in the Visitor Center offers perennial plants, specialty ornamentals, and hypertufa planters. In the fall you will find great plant varieties, pumpkins, and gourds. And during the holidays, you'll find a selection of freshly made outdoor decorations, including swags and wreaths. Fernwood members receive discounts on many items. Visit the Plant Shop today during Fernwood's regular hours.
Plant Sales
Fernwood holds a plant sale each spring. Enjoy shopping for plants in a beautiful garden setting where new and rare plant varieties can be found among old favorites.
The spring sale offers a combination of perennials, specialty shrubs, and other unique plants from local nurseries in addition to interesting garden-related items. Staff and volunteer Master Gardeners are on hand to offer expert gardening advice. Proceeds from purchases will support new or developing gardens at Fernwood.
Gallery Sales
Throughout the year Fernwood features artwork in our gallery spaces which are available for purchase. Purchase requests or inquiries may be submitted to the Front Desk staff. Artwork sold during an exhibition is generally not removed from display until the end of the exhibition. Some exceptions may apply or with approval from the Gallery Curator.
Purchasing artworks at Fernwood helps support local artists and Fernwood's mission. Fernwood retains a 30% commission on all gallery sales and 70% of sales go directly to the artist.
