Summer Camp Instructor
Fernwood is seeking an enthusiastic, responsible, and experienced environmental educator to lead its nature-based summer day camp, Habitat Heroes. The Camp Instructor’s primary role is to create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all campers while leading engaging outdoor nature studies, interpretive hikes, games, and stewardship.

Customer Relations Associate
Fernwood is seeking a temporary, part-time employee to work in the Visitors Center, ideal for those interested in nature or gardening. This customer service role aims to create the best experience for guests and Fernwood members at all times. Employment duration is May through October 2026.

Education Department Assistant
Fernwood is seeking an engaging and reliable Education Department Assistant to provide support for student field trips, youth summer day camps, and public programs for all ages. This position requires close work with the Director of Education to prepare and deliver lessons, presentations, and activities that meet the highest quality standard and adhere to Fernwood’s mission. Training will be provided to ensure a thorough understanding of Fernwood’s gardens, natural features, and teaching philosophy.
