High school students can earn 12 hours of service by donating their time to Fernwood. Students will learn conservation techniques for lawn maintenance, invasive species management, and best practices to support local wildlife. The program will include yard work in the garden and preserve, hiking to search for early-spring wildflowers, and learning about Fernwood’s Eastern Bluebird program.
