Fernwood Friday is a "Friendraiser" with Fernwood and WVPE Public Radio. A good time was had by all at the 2010 event, and we are looking forward to next years event. Please check back for further details as they become available. |

Autumn Air |
|
Fall is in the air at Fernwood in October, and that is the time for the Autumn Air fall festival. The event promises something for everyone. Sponsored by Fernwood and WNIT Public Television, the Fifth Annual Autumn Air celebration takes place over two days, Saturday and Sunday, October 2 and 3.
- Ride Arden's Choo-Choo around the garden for only $1 on Saturday from 1 to 4 pm! Special thanks to I Love Toy Trains in New Buffalo for their sponsorship.
- Savor delicious food prepared by Fernwood's Chef Tim Carrigan.
- Explore outer space with Igniting Stellar Imaginations and discover an array of activities for children from 1 to 5 pm both days.
- Enjoy musical entertainment both days from 2 to 4 pm, featuring The Whistle Pigs on Saturday and Jack Gregory & Friends with Venitia Sekema on Sunday.
- Peruse the artfully designed dried gourds at the exhibit and sale held by The Indiana Gourd Society.
- Shop for the perfect fall decor in our Plant Shop, featuring decorated pumpkin and gourd creations and garden items.
- Check out the winners of Fernwood's Photography Contest in the art gallery.
- Visit Fernwood's railway garden before it closes for the season. Take the free shuttle between Fernwood and downtown Buchanan's Harvest Buchanan celebration.
Admission to Autumn Air is free for Fernwood and WNIT members. Regular admission prices apply to all others. Come celebrate fall with us! |
