Southwest Michigan Daffodil Show

Presented by the St. Joseph Valley Daffodil Society & the Indiana Daffodil Society. Members of these groups and the American Daffodil Society, as well as private growers, come together to exhibit their private collections of one of the world’s favorite flowers – the daffodil.

Between viewing these beautiful collections of award winning flowers take in a free program on Sunday April 22 from 1–2:30pm to learn more about daffodils from some of the top experts in the field today.

Earth Day Celebration

Fernwood celebrates Earth Day with a variety of drop-in activities. Make and take a seed bomb to plant in your garden, learn more about turtles at a Nature Station, make a recycled craft, and enjoy the beauty of spring in the gardens and nature preserve.

Arbor Day

Join the Fernwood staff in a ceremonial planting of a tree on the Fernwood property to commemorate a day that celebrates these life-sustaining wonders of nature. Take home a free sapling to plant for your family’s future.

Harris-Kramer Country Estate Sale
Longtime Fernwood benefactors, Andrea Kramer and Alton Harris, sold their Buffalo Road country house last fall. Known for their entertaining, green thumbs, fundraising events, women’s rights advocacy, and ongoing support of Fernwood, they have generously donated the contents of their house to Fernwood to be sold in a two-day extravaganza estate sale. All proceeds go to Fernwood.
